The Baby Elephant and the Sheep

All-new hour-long special Unlikely Animal Friends 2 revisits one of the most curious and adorable phenomena in the animal kingdom — interspecies camaraderie. Albert the sheep befriends Themba, an orphaned baby elephant, bringing her the will to be nursed back to health. Jessica the hippopotamus makes daily visits to the home of a South African couple. Eskimo dogs roughhouse with polar bears. A leopard and a golden retriever grow up together. A lion, tiger, and bear trio grow old together, and a goat and 2 dogs make an odd traveling family. It doesn’t get much cuter than this!

Don’t miss the premiere of Unlikely Animal Friends 2 followed by the original Unlikely Animal Friends TONIGHT, Friday, January 7th at 9PM et/pt.

Elephants are such majestic creatures… I’ve always wanted to visit an area such as thailand to see them interacting in a natural way with humans and effecting their lifestyle in a positive and intricate fashion… It’s a shame in todays world that we are losing more and more of our ties with nature… one day it will all be gone! I see the affects on my florida keys fishing trips with fish species and such being less and less plentiful!

Many elephants are died everyday on African wildlife parks due to drought and lack of food and water. I hope the local government and the some international wildlife preservation will work hand in hand to save these creatures before they get extinct.

It is amazing what animals can teach us – even the old or vintage ones
