Into the Lost Crystal Caves Photo Gallery

Into the Lost Crystal Caves takes us nearly 1,000 feet below Earth’s surface in Naica, Mexico. These explorers have to wear specialized ice suits in order to keep their body temperature down, b/c in this cave the humidity is 100%. It is an incredible sight and amazing that the technology was able to withstand such extreme conditions and capture incredible imagery on film. Although the images could stand alone, the captions of the photos bring so much more detail to the story so we feel like we are right there in the caves. Because, let’s be real, I have no interest trudging into the fiery depths of the Earth to face conditions that could kill me after just 15 minutes of exposure.
