Penguin Safari

During the Antarctic spring, millions of penguins converge on the island of South Georgia to breed. It becomes a vital oasis for one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife and one of biggest penguin colonies on earth. Go inside the intimate secret lives of 3 very different types of penguins – King, Macaroni and Gentoo – as they struggle to survive against fierce predators and seize slim opportunities to breed during the short Antarctic spring.

Video Preview: The penguins have some odd and dangerous neighbors. Will the nesting grounds stay safe through spring?

Penguin Safari airs on Nat Geo Wild Wednesday June 2 at 10P et/pt.

I agree with soccerplayer0101 penguins do have quite a few enemies and need to be careful, however, I feel the biggest enemy is man due to environmental and ecological destruction. The ice flats and glaciers are all but melting and many marine life leaving in the cooler hemispheres of the earth are living on a thin line.
