Six Photos to Feed Your Soul

If you’ve been watching The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, you know that Freeman has traveled the world on his quest to uncover answers to some of mankind’s biggest questions, touching down in 20 cities across seven countries while exploring the spiritual and religious traditions and rituals in each place.

Freeman isn’t the only one who’s been busy getting his passport stamped. We wanted to explore other stories of religion and spirituality from people who have made their life on the road, inviting travelers and wanderers to share spiritual or religious moments in the form of a photograph. Surprisingly, what we got back were not photos of touristy religious sites or rituals — but quiet, personal moments of reflection and wonder.

Thanks to The Planet D, Local Adventurer, My View From the Middle Seat, Landlopers, I Am Aileen and Voyage Vixens for the eye candy — and the inspiration to book our next flight!

New episodes of The Story of God with Morgan Freeman premieres Sundays at 9/8c.

We are really looking forward to this series as Morgan Freeman explores different religions and spiritual places around the world in search of the answer to why the human race worships God and heaven. We shared our words and photograph from our Mount Everest Base Camp trek. Walking through the Himalaya felt as if you could reach out and touch a little bit of heaven.
