Fishin’ Frenzy Strikes Again: Catch of the Week | Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks

In North Carolina’s bluefin tuna fleet, family is at the forefront of the fight to fish hard and make money, and one crew member faces a family emergency unfolding on land that tests his resolve on the water.

While the Fishin’ Frenzy has enjoyed a successful season so far, the boat remains a close second to local rival Reels of Fortune. With such fierce competition, one day can make or break their position in the fleet. But the crew knows they must keep focused on fishing instead of getting caught up in the contest. However, every boat can have bad luck and after they lose their first hooked tuna of the day, pressure and panic rise. Later, First Mate Nick Gowitzka faces a family emergency unfolding on land that tests his resolve on the water. The boat needs to catch a keeper quickly so he can return to land and be with his wife and sick daughter. Fishin’ Frenzy knows that to stay in the game and make money to support their families, the crew can’t let stress and worries get the best of them. Instead, Nick and the rest of the crew work as hard as ever for his daughter’s sake and reels in 285 lbs. of fish and $4,560.

Keep up with next week’s catches on  Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks: Nine-Foot Monster, Sunday at 9/8c.

I’m lovin this! Great action and fun! What is totally cracking me up is watching Tyler and Paul. Usually Tyler irritates me, but this season watching him run out of the cabin squealing like a little girl every time a fish jumps on the line and Paul sounding like Curly is BUSTING ME UP! Marciano and TJ both have been such class acts with the other crews and the bonding.
