First Mate Scott Ferriero struggles to hold on to the reel while captain Bill Monte and his wife Donna Monte provide support. They have only caught two fish this season and are facing an uphill battle to make ends meet.

The Captains and mates are reaching their breaking points on this week’s episode of Wicked Tuna. With six weeks left before the Bluefin tuna fishing season comes to an end, the pressure is on to catch a giant especially for Dave Marciano with Hard Merchandise. Last week we saw his boat break down and get towed in by FV-tuna.com. Back in the waters after a hefty repair bill, we see his bad luck strikes again when the boat’s pump malfunctions and water starts to fill the hull.

Tensions mount aboard the FV-tuna.com between captain Dave Carraro and first mate Paul Hebert. They pulled ahead of Pin Wheel on the leaderboard this week and are trying to keep that lead. With Paul disagreeing with everything Dave wants to do, the relationship between the two has reached unbearable levels. As Dave’s patience runs thin, he and Paul bump heads one too many times and the irritated captain weighs a decision that could change everything for the boat and the pair’s long friendship.

    OMG I can’t believe a Captain that sleeps and doesn’t show up,,, loses fish,,, and he fires Paul after the two crew bring in 14000.00 worth of tuna,,, is he scared Paul is a better fisherman than he is. I have watched this show as I come from a fishing village in Nova Scotia,,, and I have never heard of this kind of action from a Captain before,,, I pity that boat,,,

    Capt Scott on the Bounty Hunter is absolutely pathetic!!! I am a loyal fan of the show and this guy makes me watch with one eye closed. He is pathetic!! Misses the harpoon shot after 3.5 hours and cuts the line. This guy does NOTHING right. He needs to find another line of work……

    Paul, your right for leaving .com. I’m a tuna fisherman for over twenty five years and your comments to Dave were right on. He thinks that being a captain means that your an emperor. Without you he will lose. What, he is a stock broker and knows everthing. He just has money and doesn’t know how to treat a good mate. I’m glad your off his boat. You don’t deserve that kind of treatment from an emperor. Good luck my friend. You will do well. You are a highly skilled tuna fisherman.

    It sure was Billy may have been a great fisherman at one point but now more of a hinderance to crew and that was downright depressing and embarrassing. Falling asleep at the wheel and can’t carry his own as a crewmwmber.

    Are you kidding me? You had to digitize the Holy Card of St. Jude? Exactly whom were you afraid of offending? Muslim tuna fishermen? Jewish Gloucestermen?

    You folks are getting more and more laughable. And what worse, when you aren’t shilling for imaginary apocalypses like Global Warming (or “Global Climate Change” to you hillbillies), the HD cameras make the reality-based shows interesting.

    Bounty Hunter and Odyssea are just not cut out to be fisherman….many other career choices still available. Tyler needs to tone it down. Dave needs to tone it up. Dave Marchiano is very cool and realistic. Pauley needs his first shot

    Love the show but i gotta tell you bounty hunter needs to retire,Bill seems like a great guy but way to negative to catch a fish, Marciano i like the best not fighting just giving us great insight of being a Tuna Fishermen. Love tylers energy great show …

    Bounty Hunter needs to get rid of little pudgy Scott & get a reall deckahnd.. The guy never knows when to let the tuna run..I think Scott is more concerned with the camera..with his overacting..his 28 yr old haircut..and torn off sleeves (DOES HE THINK HE HAS muscles?? Not..He’s lost all the tuna

    Watching the Bounty Hunter is an exercise in pure disgust. As a fisherman myself ,Bill is the worst I have ever seen. He does more to destroy the catching of tuna with his inept harpooning and horrific boat handling. Scott doesn’t stand a chance.
    Bill should sell (give) the bounty hunter to Dave of Hard Mercandise. At least a worthy boat would have a resl fisherman at the helm!

    Bounty Hunter …Boys you guys need to hang it up! You might have been something years passed, but you don’t have it now! My uncle (who was a GREAT fisherman) use to say 90% of the fish are caught by 10% of the “good” fishermen! Bill, after watching you try to harpoon that one tuna, I now watch you (and your crew) with one eye closed …embarrassing! Time to think about retiring my friend …OR leasing your boat to Paul!!?
