Tonight on Doomsday Preppers: Hit the Ground Running, we profile three Americans prepping for various disasters. Be it financial collapse, economic collapse, or terrorist attacks — these preppers have one thing in common: they are prepared.

So let’s meet tonight’s preppers, shall we?

US - NDPR9036 NGCI - 040090First, we profile John and Kelly Taylor, former firefighters and avid motorcycle riders living on a prepping homestead.  Three years ago they decided to leave the sunny beaches of Florida and move the Mountains of Virginia in preparation of a total economic collapse.

US - NDPR9036 NGCI - 040090Then we meet Frank, a retired construction worker living in Southern Maine. Now Frank spends his golden years flying his private plane, staying fit with his wife Elaine and most importantly preparing for the upcoming economic collapse. Frank has built a bunker that will withstand any Doomsday scenario and he is ready to test it out.

Brian BrawdyFinally we meet mobile prepper Brian Brawdy as he prepares for an upcoming terrorist attack. Brian spends the majority of his time on the road in his ultimate bug out vehicle. He uses his survival techniques to observe mother nature for a warning sign to bug out during Doomsday.

Do you think any of these preppers have what it takes to get to the top of the Prepper Leaderboard? John Adrain has been holding the top spot for weeks. Tune in tonight at 9P to find out!

Hope everybody likes the show. Our message is simple be good to yourself, others, and the earth we live on. Be self sufficient in as many ways as possible. Lets leave our planet better than when we found it. Our children and the children of the world deserve a bright future, and the way we change our habits now will impact future generations for better or worse. What legacy will you leave?

Bad edit by the narrator talking about “The odds” in the first preppers ending, see if you can catch it. Id like to know what he really said about ecomic colapse.

    Interesting summary tonight.
Normally it’s phrased as “X is preparing for an economic collapse,” but tonight it’s phrased “preparing for the upcoming economic collapse.”
As if it’s a sure thing.
Did the “experts” there (the ones who give us the odds, *not* David and Scott from Practical Preppers) finally actually take a look at the real economic numbers, the amount of people receiving gov’t assistance, how other countries are getting out of the dollar, and how Bernanke just keeps those printing presses running?
Because it seems like every economist has finally been forced to admit that there’s an economic collapse coming; the only two holdouts left were this administration’s spokesmen and the “odds experts” here at NatGeo.

    Frank and Elaine
Yoiu made a very bad mistake that could cost you your lives.
In the shots of your entrance to the living quarters (out on the lake) , it showed a close up of your entrance lid. As you closed the lid (with both of you inside), it showed the latch being left llying open on the closed lid. If a ttree brnach branch or an animal accidentally strikes the latch and flips it over it will close over the hasp and you will be trapped inside and unable to raise the lid. …. period. You MUST find a way keep the latch from coming down on the hasp. Otherwise you can pound on the door forever with no one to hear you. Thanks for listeneing. Chris

Are you kidding me? You bought a chokehold trap and laid it on its side. Not very impressive.
