Posted by A hard season with little money to show has taken its toll on the crew of the Odysea, leading Captain Ralph to lash out at his first mate Pirate. The more Ralph yells, the more Pirate tunes him out, leading to more mistakes from Pirate. Something has to give: either Pirate shapes up, or Ralph may ship him out. After defecting from Tuna.com to the Bounty Hunter, first mate Paul must prove his worth to his new captain or face the prospect of being a mate without a ship. After combating financial setbacks all season long, the Hard Merchandise is finally in the black, and able to enjoy some of the spoils of their success.

Our family likes to watch the show but we get real tired of the language. Even though it’s beeped out. Good Tv can come without the beeps and language

When you are not catching fish the tension on board is intense.I can not blame Ralph for getting upset with Pirate. We also do not know the whole situation with Ralph and Pirate. Pirate does have some issues with the bottle.That I do know.

as for the language the problem is this is real its not a show where they give them lines to say,it a high tension job where men do have a tendency to say the first thing they think off which just happens to be f##k c#nt bas###d and a lot more swear words that just happens to be real life

they are all good fishermen if your salty you swear and the odysea used to come to hatteras to fish for the bluefin but for you all that cant handle the swearing this is not an easy living i promise you ive done it for 9 years so deal with it

me and my wife meet pirate in provincetown in august of 2012 and he was a nice guy and we had are picture tooking with him i think he should be back on the show
